EN8 Plate is a medium-strength carbon steel plate, widely used in engineering applications due to its excellent strength, machinability, and wear resistance. It belongs to the BS 970 standard and typically contains around 0.4% carbon, making it suitable for components requiring higher strength than mild steel but without the complexity of alloy steels.
