The Biplast is a sliding guide for the modern construction of machine tools and other machinery. It is composed of a sheet of acetal resin (natural POM with special additives to improve its properties), coated on the face of the glue by a special synthetic fabric (STRETCH), forming an inseparable unit.
The Biplast  has excellent sliding and dry running properties, has excellent wear resistance , high load capacity and high temperature resistance.
Biplast coatings have the advantage that the static and dynamic friction coefficient is practically even, eliminating the stick-slip effects.This enables numerical control machines, high positioning accuracy at low feed rates.

Rulon is an all-polymeric reinforced, light brown colored PTFE compound that operates exceptionally well against soft mating surfaces such as 316 stainless steel, aluminum, mild steel, brass and other plastics. The unique "shaft friendly" material is also low in friction and wear and is self lubricating.
Rulon has one of the lowest coefficients of friction of most reinforced PTFE materials. This makes it ideally suited for start/stop applications where stick-slip must be eliminated. The tribological properties of this material also make it suitable for both bearing and wear component applications.
